Measurement and handoff

Booking a site visit in Aarhus

Send floor plan photos and a short note about what you store through our contact form. We reply with available measurement slots — usually within three business days for Latin Quarter and Trøjborg addresses.

Remote consultations work for straightforward pantry questions when you can provide accurate wall lengths and appliance model numbers. On-site visits are required for gear walls and utility alcoves with uneven substrates.

What happens during measurement

Mette or Jonas arrives with a folding rule, laser measure, and container checklist. We open existing cabinets, note hinge directions, and photograph obstacles like pipes, meters, and sloped ceilings under Trøjborg stairs.

The visit lasts sixty to ninety minutes for a single room. Multi-room audits extend to a half day with a short break so you can walk us through daily routines in each zone.

Back at the studio on Store Torv we translate field notes into ruled layout sheets. Shelf tiers are drawn to scale with annotations for load limits, material suggestions, and container counts agreed on site.

You receive a draft elevation by email for factual checks — a misplaced socket or corrected fridge depth — before we finalise the joiner-ready package.

Handoff to your joiner or DIY build

Final deliverables include dimensioned elevations, a plan view, and a plain-language summary for household members. Joiners receive millimetre dimensions without marketing copy cluttering the page.

One adjustment round is included if your carpenter flags a conflict with existing pipework discovered after opening a wall. Further changes are billed hourly per our fee schedule.

Timeline from enquiry to delivery

Single-room layout sheets typically return within one week of measurement. Full-home STO-06 packages covering kitchen, hallway, and utility zones need two weeks when multiple sketches must align at shared corners.

STO-06 bundled fee is €890 when you commission three or more zones in one home. Individual service sheets remain available à la carte from the inventory.
